Mens Wellbeing was founded 20 years ago as the Men’s Health and Wellbeing Association of Queensland, after several men already involved in men’s personal growth work noted the deep lack of Government or community resources for men.
Totally self-funded and incorporated as a not-for-profit community association, it has since grown to have a current active membership base of over 350. It is steered by a voluntary management committee and employs a part-time administrator.

Women's Wellbeing Association
Our sister organisation is Women's Wellbeing Association; dedicated to initiating education, consciousness and empowerment raising activities for the health and wellbeing of women. Women's Wellbeing is a safe, supportive space for meeting, greeting, friendship, sisterhood, sharing and learning with like-hearted women through our programs, circles, events and gatherings.
A number of experienced men in our community have formed an organisation that serves families of teenage boys to make the most of this often challenging time. Powerhouse Programs has built an excellent reputation for their many programs and resources that support mums, dads and sons to learn new skills, embrace change and adjust relationships in line with emerging adulthood.
